In November we opened our "Win a Microwave" Prize Draw, which was our way of saying thank you for the dedication and care you provide every day.
Due to the huge number of entries to this prize draw, as an extra treat, Omnimed also selected a number of 'runner up' prize winners.
One of the lucky runners up was Sarah Jack, Unit Manager at Freeman Hospital, Newcastle.
Last week, Omnimed's Commercial Manager, John Wood dropped in to the Endoscopy Unit at Freeman Hospital to present Sarah with the prize - one of our 'Cups of Cheer' gift boxes of 6 mugs, with each mug featuring Omnimed’s branding on one side and a playful joke on the reverse.
However, in the true spirit of NHS dedication, Sarah was busy stepping in to help colleagues in the Recovery Unit who were in need of an extra pair of very capable hands. Unsurprisingly, the team spirit extended to the Endoscopy Unit's admin staff, and the prize was instead gratefully received by Deborah Emmerson and Alison Dixon-Filakou.
We hope Sarah and her team enjoy a very well-earned brew in their new mugs!
