Omnimed is proud to announce a significant milestone in its sustainability efforts, having reviewed its Electric Delivery Certificate from DPD. This highlights our shared commitment to measuring, reducing, and communicating carbon impact.
In 2024 alone, Omnimed has delivered over a thousand parcels using DPD’s all-electric vehicles, resulting in an impressive savings of over 451 kg of CO2. This achievement reflects the effectiveness of DPD's electric delivery initiative and Omnimed's dedication to promoting environmentally responsible practices.
DPD continues to invest in its all-electric delivery fleet, which now makes up over 32% of its final-mile delivery operations. As part of Geopost, DPD has established a fully validated Science Based Targets initiative (SBTi) net-zero target, aiming for a 90% reduction in emissions by 2040, based on a 2020 baseline.
