With 2025 being all about our commitment to Green Endoscopy, Omnimed is pleased to announce that all staff have now received their first session of Net Zero training.
Delivered by Oliver Lovell, Environmental Consultant from Arthian, the IEMA certified Introduction to Net Zero course helped the team understand the factors associated with Net Zero and how we can approach them within our organisation.
Key themes covered were:

By the end of the course the team were able to:
• Understand Net Zero Carbon, the Net Zero Carbon Agenda drivers and mechanisms of Net Zero Carbon and its position in the Climate Change context
• Understand the international and UK policy for Net Zero Carbon
• Engage with and create an outline of a Net Zero Carbon approach, and the associated benefits this provides the organisation
• Feel empowered to promote Net Zero Carbon and avoid greenwashing
Managing Director, Michael Morris, said "This training is another step towards putting Omnimed in the strongest position possible to support the Greener NHS goals and similar initiatives amongst private healthcare providers. I'm pleased that we have established a relationship with Arthian to continue this journey and am excited to receive further training for all staff."
